For more than two decades, McGloin has served as a communications, public policy and public opinion research advisor in politics and government at the state and national level. His experience includes strategic communications, grassroots advocacy, public opinion research, government relations and political campaign management.

McGloin joined GBPR from the MetroHartford Alliance where he was Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy. Prior to joining Gaffney Bennett, Patrick ran an independent consulting firm and conducted public opinion research at the University of Connecticut’s Center for Survey Research and Analysis. He served as a policy aide for Speaker of the Connecticut House of Representatives Moira Lyons. Patrick’s experience also includes serving on the Washington, DC staff of U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) and for Vice President Al Gore’s 2000 Presidential Campaign.

McGloin earned a B.A. in Politics from St. Anselm College in 1997. He received his M.S. in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut in 2003.
