Throughout his career, Jake has served as a trusted advisor for clients navigating communications around a wide-range of issues and objectives, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, go-private transactions, spin-offs, SPAC deals, capital raising, financial malfeasance and accounting issues, bankruptcy and restructurings, executive transitions, product recalls, labor disputes, litigation, data breach and IT-related issues, regulatory issues, social issues, sexual misconduct, workplace violence and natural disasters. His expertise also includes corporate visibility and positioning, reputation management, public affairs and B2B.
Additionally, Jake has extensive experience with the development and execution of crisis preparedness programs, including vulnerability assessments, response planning and simulations.
Prior to joining GBPR, Jake spent five years at ICR where he was a member of the firm’s corporate communications and special situations practices. He earned a B.A. in Communications with a focus in public and investor relations from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is also an alum of Marquette University’s Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington D.C. He is based in New York City.
