SOUTHBURY — The Watermark at East Hill will host a free lecture, called The Changing Face of Healthcare: A Look at the Forces that are Changing Hospitals as We Know Them.
Darlene Stromstad, president and CEO of Waterbury Hospital, will speak from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, at The Watermark, 611 East Hill Rd.
Ms. Stromstad will discuss the state of healthcare in Connecticut and the rest of the country.
“We feel it is important to keep our residents and guests of the community informed about how healthcare, and hospitals in particular, are changing both in our state and on a national level,” said Michelle Bettigole, executive director of The Watermark at East Hill.
“We are pleased to have someone with such a high level of experience and expertise as Ms. Stromstad available to help explain the changes and answer any questions guests might have.”
