On Thursday, March 27, The Watermark at East Hill will host its monthly Discovery Luncheon, a seminar on retirement living for adults ages 55 and older and their families. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.
The Discovery Luncheon will feature guest speakers Erwin and Ursula Frank, residents at The Watermark who have lived at the community since July 2013. Originally from Somers, New York, the couple will discuss their decision to move to The Watermark and how they are continue to maintain an active lifestyle in their new environment.
“Our Discovery Luncheon offers adults from the area the chance to meet and talk with people that have made the transition to a retirement community,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director at The Watermark at East Hill. “We hope it helps alleviate what can often be a stressful and overwhelming process.”
Seminar attendees are invited to stay for lunch prepared by The Watermark’s chef, and can also arrange for a tour of the community.
The Discovery Luncheon is free of charge and open to the public, however reservations are required. For more information or to RSVP please contact The Watermark at East Hill at 203-262-6868.
