On Wednesday, November 5, Energize Connecticut will be holding a free workshop for Berlin residents who are interested in learning more about what they can do to increase their energy efficiency and save money on monthly utility bills.
The event will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library. Representatives from Connecticut Light & Power and Yankee Gas will be on hand to discuss how Energize Connecticut programs can help, including:
- Home improvement services designed to reduce monthly utility bills through energy efficiency
- Financial incentives and payment plans available for upgrades that achieve greater energy savings
- How participation in Home Energy Solutions℠ (HES) supports the Berlin High School UpBeat Program.
Home Energy Solutions is a convenient in-home service featuring CL&P-authorized energy specialists who perform a thorough energy assessment, make on-the-spot energy improvements including air sealing and lighting upgrades, and provide a comprehensive report detailing additional saving opportunities.
