The Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) is a non-profit association dedicated to creating and maintaining a more just society. GBPR assisted CTLA in articulating the need for strong state medical malpractice laws to members of the legislature, resulting in the defeat of onerous legislation limiting the rights of medical malpractice victims. GBPR’s support included developing key messages and collateral materials, providing media training and conducting proactive and reactive media outreach. GBPR also generated grassroots support for the issue through a coordinated effort with the Connecticut-based Victims of Medical Malpractice Association.
